JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Angelina Sondakh, a graft convict and former lawmaker of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s (SBY) Democratic Party, mentioned the names of SBY’s youngest son Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono aka Ibas and former chairman of Democratic Party Anas Urbaningrum during the trial of the scandalous 2010 Initial Public Offering (IPO) of state flag carrier PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk (GIAA).
In the Wednesday’s (Jan. 6) trial at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Angelina aka Angie was testified to the court about the defendant in this case Muhammad Nazaruddin, who is also graft convict and former Democratic Party’s Treasurer.
According to Angie, Nazaruddin asked her to help to pass several projects eyeing by the former’s company PT Duta Graha Indah in the discussion at the House of Representatives (DPR).
“According Pak Nazar (Muhammad Nazaruddin), he already got permission from the Prince and the Chairman,” Angie said, as quoted by Kompas.com.
“From what I know from Pak Nazar, the Prince is Ibas, the Chairman is Anas,” The former beauty queen added when answering the KPK’s prosecutor question.
In this case, Nazaruddin is alleged for committing money laundering through the purchase of Garuda Indonesia’s shares worth Rp300.85 billion back in 2010 using the money collected by his company PT Duta Graha Indah (DGI) from the construction development of athlete dormitory project.
