JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) has drawn down US$880 million loan from China Development Bank (CDB), part of US$1 billion loan facility commitment.
The loan will be used to fund infrastructure projects. The bank expects the improving economic growth next year, then it will boost loan for infrastructure sector.
BMRI targets its loan to grow by 15-17% in 2016, compared to 13% growth expected for this year.
BMRI also plans to inject capital to its subsidiaries next year, PT Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) and PT Mandiri Capital.
