JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) fell 0.17% to 4461 early trade this morning to tracking the falls in regional markets.

Asian share markets got off to a lackluster start on Monday following a dive on Wall Street, though losses were limited by a general lack of investor interest in a holiday-heavy week, Reuters reported.

Nymex’s crude oil fell 1.2% to US$34.52 per barrel in Asian trading this morning while gold increased 1.74% to US$1,067.90 per ounce.

Astra Agro lost 1.1%, Astra International declined 1.6%, Charoen Pokphand shed 1.1%, XL Axiata slashed 1.6%, Vale Indonesia dropped 1.35%, Lippo Karawaci lost 2.65%, and Bukit Asam declined 1.6%.

While Timah jumped 4.1%, Semen Indonesia gained 1.43%, Eagle High Plantations rose 2.2%, Adaro Energy increased 2%, and Bank Danamon hiked 1.4%.
