JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The ethics council of the House of Representatives (MKD DPR) is expected today (Dec. 14) to examine businessman Mohammad Reza Chalid and Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law & Security affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan related to further investigation into the Freeport Indonesia scandal involving House Speaker Setya Novanto.
Reza is scheduled to be examined at around 10:00 am of Jakarta time. Luhut, meanwhile, will be examined at around 1:00 pm.
But at the time of writing, there is no confirmation yet from Reza on whether he will answer the call or not.
Previously, Reza has skipped the first MKD’s call for examination session last week. According to the Immigration office, Reza has gone abroad.
As for Luhut, the Monday’s session will be his first examination session.(haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
