JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened lower 0.6% at 4493 this morning following regional markets.

Asian stock markets teetered near their weakest levels in three weeks on Tuesday, as a rout in oil prices to near seven-year lows knocked global energy company shares and commodity currencies, Reuters reported.

Nymex’s crude oil rose 0.48% to US$37.83 per barrel in Asian trading this morning and gold fell 0.7% to US$1,067.60 per ounce.

Vale Indonesia lost 2.24%, Indika Energy fell 2.5%, Perusahaan Gas Negara declined 2.14%, Bukit Asam shed 2.44%, and Indo Tambangraya slipped 1.89%.
