JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT PP Tbk (PTPP) plans to set up new subsidiary, PT PP Energi, engaging in electricity business.
PTPP will inject Rp1.5 trillion to PP Energi which will have assets of Rp400-600 billion. Currently, PTPP’s power plant capacity reaches 90 megawatts (MW).
PP Energi will next year focus on expanding its independent power producer (IPP). PTPP has participated in the tender of coal-fired power plant (PLTU) in West Kalimantan with capacity of 2×200 MW. This project costs Rp5 trillion.
