JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The CEO of PT Freeport Indonesia Rear Air Marshall (ret) Maroef Sjamsoeddin fulfilled the call from the House of Representatives’ ethics council (MKD DPR) to testify in the ethics trial of House Speaker Setya Novanto, Thursday (Dec. 3).
The Thursday’s trial has been started at around 1:35 pm of Jakarta time, 35 minutes late from initial schedule.
The former deputy head of the National Intelligence Agency (BIN) arrived at the trial room at Nusantara II building 2nd floor in the DPR-MPR compound at around 1:30 pm. He has successfully entered the room trial after escaping from tens of journalists flooded infront of the room.
Besides Maroef, the MKD also scheduled to examine businessman Mohammad Reza Chalid. Reza, however, has not yet confirmed to attend trial.
Yesterday, the MKD questioned Minister of Energy & Mineral Resources (ESDM) Sudirman Said. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
