JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended lower 0.8% at 4560 Friday (Nov. 27) as profit taking hit after recent gains.
Asian stocks markets were lower in muted trading Friday after Wall Street was closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, and investors continued to watch for developments in tense relations between Russia and Turkey, AP reported.
Adaro Energy lost 3.4%, Aneka Tambang fell 3.98%, Alam Sutera dropped 3.47%, Bank Mandiri shed 3.23%, Indika Energy slashed 7.89%, and Indocement lost 4.76%.
Nymex’s crude oil fell 1.86% to US$42.24 per barrel and gold fell 0.3% to US$1,066.60 per ounce. The rupiah slightly weakened to Rp13,747 against the US dollar.
