JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 1.19% to 4,652 on Tuesday (August 13) inline with regional markets. Japan’s Nikkei jumped 2.57%.

Property stocks led market’s gain. Alam Sutera surged 6.67%, Bumi Serpong Damai climbed 5.1%, and Lippo Karawaci lifted 4%.

Blue chips also gained. Adaro Energy increased 2.6%, Astra International gained 2.33%, Bank Central Asia hiked 3.88%, and Trada Maritim rose 2.2%.

Other gainers were Media Nusantara Citra (+4.8%), Waskita Karya (2.53%), Wijaya Karya (+6%), and Global Mediacom (+1.1%).

Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.6% to US$106.75 per barrel. The rupiah dropped to Rp10,292 against the US Dollar.
