JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Smart Tbk, plantation unit of Sinarmas Group, plummeted 15.8% Tuesday (August 13) morning, while peers were mostly gainers.

Trading volume of Smart Tbk, however, was thin with only 10,500 shares exchanged hands. The stock has gained substantially year-to-date on divestment plan.

Smart Tbk’s parent company Golden Agri-Resources also lost 1.92% on the stock exchange of Singapore (SGX).

PP London Sumatra, controlled by Salim Group, meanwhile, gained 6.2% with 28 million shares exchanged hands. This stock has dropped substantially year-to-date.

BW Plantation and Astra Agro Lestari also gained 5.71% and 3.42% respectively. Bakrie Sumatra Plantation (UNSP), on the other hand, lost 1.92%.
