JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Chief of the National Police General Badrodin Haiti told the press on Wednesday (Nov. 4) that the Police will soon bring 50 people named as suspects behind forest fires in Sumatra and Kalimantan to trial.

According to Badrodin, the Police has completed the dossiers of said 50 suspects. But as for companies named as suspect behind forest fires, Badrodin said the Police expect to complete the dossier of one out of those companies this week.

Badrodin delivered his statements after a meeting with President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and other cabinet members at the State Palace.

Previously, the spokesperson of the National Police’s headquarters Sr. Comr. Suharsono revealed that the Police has named 9 companies and 195 people as suspects behind forest fires in Sumatra and Kalimantan. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
