JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State construction firm PT Waskita Karya TBk (WSKT) is set to construct the light rail transit (LRT) in Palembang, South Sumatera.
The groundbreaking for the construction is scheduled for this month. The construction will take 2 years, then the operation of 26 km LRT is expected by mid 2018.
The project is funded by WSKT and the state budget (APBN). WSKT is allowed to seek partners for this project.
