JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) revealed on Monday (November 2) that October 2015 deflation was 0.08%, extended 0.05% deflation in September 2015.
The deflation in September 2015 was contributed by foodstuff (-0.22%).
While prepared food, beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco recorded inflation of 0.07%, housing, water, electricity, gas, fuel (0.02% inflation), clothing (0.02% inflation), health (0.01% inflation), education, recreation, and sport (0.01% inflation), and transportation, communication, finance services (0.01% inflation).
Year to date inflation was 2.16% while year on year inflation was 6.25%.
