JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Muhaimin Iskandar, chairman of PKB, one of members of the ruling coalition, has today answered the second call from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for examination session on Wednesday (Oct. 28) related to further investigation into extortion case implicating his former subordinate at the Ministry of Manpower & Transmigration.
Prior to the questioning session, Muhaimin stated that he didn’t know anything about the case implicating Jamaluddien Malik, former Director General of Transmigration Area Development.
Previously, Muhaimin failed to answer KPK’s first call on last Friday due to illness. He then asked KPK to reschedule the session today.
Jamaluddien acted as Director General of Transmigration Area Development under Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s (SBY) administration from 2009 to 2014. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
