JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange inched down 0.05% to 4603 this early morning trade, as profit taking cut its gain at opening.

Asian stocks were tepid early Thursday, with an uninspiring lead from Wall Street and lower commodity prices sapping risk appetite, Cnbc.com reported.

Nymex’s crude oil rose 0.38% to US$45.37 per barrel in Asian trading this morning while gold declined 0.1% to US$1,166 per ounce.

Aneka Tambang dropped 5.6%, Astra International fell 1.6%, Indofood declined 1.2%, Kalbe Farma shed 1.4%, Semen Indonesia slashed 1.8%, and Bukit Asam lost 2.1%.

While plantation stocks extended gains. London Sumatra gained 2.7% and Astra Agro jumped 3.55%.
