JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Government managed to sell government retail bonds series ORI012 achieving Rp27.439 trillion. Seeing from the professional background, the investors were dominated by the private sector workers.
Director of the Directorate General of Government Securities Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) Loto Srinaita Ginting said as many as 25.25% of the investors were private workers, followed by entrepreneurs (21.36%).
Amid uncertainty in financial markets and global economic slowdown, public interest in the retail Treasury bonds ORI012 series is still quite high, higher than the indicative targets of Rp20 trillion.
