JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) hinted another examination session over Secretary General of Nasdem Party Patrice Rio Capella related to further investigation into bribery scandal implicating infamous lawyer Otto Cornelis (OC) Kaligis and Governor of North Sumatra Gatot Pujo Nugroho.
According to the acting head of the KPK’s public relation bureau Yuyuk Andriati, the KPK, moreover, may also summon the chairman of Nasdem Party Surya Paloh if his testimony is necessarily needed for the KPK’s investigation.
As reported earlier, KPK has questioned Patrice Rio Capella on September 23, 2015, related to the meeting at Nasdem’s headquarters reportedly attended by OC Kaligis, Gatot, Vice Governor of North Sumatra Tengku Erry Nuradi, and other Nasdem officials.
At that time, Kaligis served as chief justice of Nasdem’s Supreme Council. Erry, meanwhile, serves as chairman of Nasdem for North Sumatra provincial chapter.
KPK’s acting deputy chief Indriyanto Seno Adji earlier stated that the KPK was trying to determine whether the meeting was just a mediation session for the dispute between Gatot and Erry as claimed by Kaligis or whether it was something else related to the bribery scandal.
