JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – 100 Indonesian pilgrims have lost their lives so far after a stampede in Mina during the annual haj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.

The National Police’s Disaster Victims Identification (DVI) will continue to identify the victims of the Mina stampede in some hospitals in Saudi.

According to the head of the Police’s DVI team Sr. Comr. Muhammad Masudi, the Saudi government has given wide access to the Indonesian Police’s DVI team to identify the victims.

As reported earlier, 717 pilgrims died after a stampede in Mina on Sep. 24, 2015. While 863 others got injured in the incident. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
