JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) allocates capital expenditure (capex) of Rp6-7 trillion for 2016. This year’s capex is 6.5-7.5 trillion.
The capex for next year will be mostly used to finance the 4G long term evolution (LTE) network development.
The capex will be funded by internal cash while the loan will be used to refinance debts. ISAT targets to cut its dollar-denominated debts to 20% of total debt by end of this year.
ISAT opts to postpones its bond issue plan scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year as the market condition does not support. ISAT plans to issue bonds worth Rp2 trillion.
