JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Another deadly accident took place on Saturday Banyumas Regency, Central Java province, when a bus hit one car and two motorcycles before slammed into a cliff and killing 12 people on board.
The accident took place at Krumput, Pagelarang, Kemrajen area in Banyumas involving a Karya Sari bus (serving Solo-Yogyakarta-Purwokerto route) transporting 25 passengers hit one sedan and two motorcycles.
Suryanto, driver of the bus, said he lost control of the bus and decided to turn it to the rights side of the road in order to prevent more casualties down the hill as the brake failed to work properly.
“Lots of people (on the road), so I turned the car to the right but hit two motorcycles and one sedan,” Suryanto is quoted by Detik.com Saturday evening.
