JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Visi Media Asia Tbk (VIVA), member of Bakrie Group, suffered loss attributable to owner of Rp263.98 billion in the first half of 2015, against profit of Rp81.7 billion in the corresponding period of 2014.

Revenue was flat at Rp1.09 trillion, compared to Rp1.06 trillion in the first half of 2914 and operating profit was Rp304.84 billion compared to Rp303.99 billion a previous year.

VIVA recorded foreign exchange (forex) loss of Rp112.34 billion, against forex gain of Rp4.8 billion a year earlier. It also recorded no profit from stake divestment. VIVA booked profit of Rp113.8 billion from stake sale in first half of 2014.

Overall, other expenses jumped 213% to Rp457 billion from earlier Rp146.6 billion. VIVA’s assets reached Rp6.29 trillion while liability amounted Rp3.9 trillion. It has cash of Rp572.89 billion.
