JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 0.16% at 4383 this morning led by commodity stocks.

This morning (Tuesday), Asian shares opened higher on Tuesday, stabilizing from sharp declines in the previous session, as Wall Street ended higher overnight, Cnbc.com reported.

Nymex’s crude oil fell 1% to US$46.49 per barrel in Asian trading this morning while gold rose 0.1% to US$1,134 per ounce.

Commodity stocks led market gain. Vale Indonesia rose 2.68%, Indo Tambangraya increased 1.56%, Eagle High Plantation climbed 1.17%, London Sumatra hiked 2%, and Bukit Asam lifted 1.78%. Alam Sutera also gained 1.16%.
