JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Heavy equipment distributor PT Hexindo Perkasa Tbk (HEXA), unit of Hitachi Co Ltd, targets to get US$50 million contracts of heavy equipment supply from state coal miner PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA).
HEXA focuses to supply its heavy equipment services for forestry and plantations sectors as the demand for coal remains low.
HEXA has signed contracts with state-owned PT Hutama Karya as contractor for the construction of pulp & paper mill owned by Sinarmas Group in Ogan Komering Ilir, Palembang, South Sumatera.
The company also targets to participate in toll road projects for Trans Sumatera and Trans Java.
HEXA targets to book sales of US$358 million this year, a 8.9% lower compared to US$393 million sales last year.
