JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The State Palace has confirmed that President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo will swear in the new Chief of the President’s Staff Office replacing Gen. (ret) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan this morning (Sep. 2).

Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung revealed that the inauguration will take place at the State Palace at around 9:00 am of Jakarta time.

That said, Pramono was reluctant to reveal the name of Luhut’s successor. The PDI-P politician was also reluctant to comment when journalists asked whether Johny Josephus Lumintang would become new Chief of the President’s Staff Office.

Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, as we all know, has been appointed as new Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law, and Security affairs replacing Admiral (ret) Tedjo Edhy Purdijatno in recent cabinet reshuffle. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
