JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 814,200 in July 2015, grew 4.76% from 777,200 in July 2014. Compared to June 2015, the figure declined 0.11%.
Total foreign tourists went to Bali, one of the most attractive places in Indonesia, through Ngurah Rai Airport, in July 2015 amounted 381,900 tourists, grew by 6.4% from 358,900 tourists in July 2014. Compared with June 2015, the number increased 6.76%.
In January-July 2015 period, foreign tourists visiting Indonesia totaled 5.47 million tourists, grew by 2.69% from 5.33 million in the same period of 2014.
The number of tourists stayed in star hotels in 27 provinces reached an average number of 51.25% in July 2015, up 2.16 points compared to July 2014 (49.09%). Compared to June 2015, the figure fell 2.89 points.
Both domestic and international tourists on average stayed in the star hotels for around 1.9 days in July 2015, down 0.20 points compared to July 2014.
