JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The National Police has confirmed that infamous lawyer Otto Cornelis Kaligis, now a suspect, has filed a report against the investigators of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
According to Spokesperson of the National Police’s headquarters Brig. Gen, Anton Charliyan, there are two KPK investigators reported by OC Kaligis to the police. Anton, however, was reluctant to reveal the identity of said 2 KPK investigators for the sake of investigation process.
As reported earlier, OC Kaligis’ lawyers have visited the office of the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Division (Bareskrim Polri) on Aug. 5, 2015 to file a police report against KPK investigators.
Previously, KPK has named OC Kaligis as one of eight suspects in bribery scandal implicating judges at the State Administrative Court (PTUN) of Medan and Governor of North Sumatra Gatot Pujo Nugroho. KPK has detained OC Kaligis since July 14, 2015. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
