JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Hanson International Tbk (MYRX) allocates Rp2 trillion fund for acquiring land. It target to boost its land bank to 4000 hectares from current 3200 hectares.

MYRX’s president director Benny Tjokrosaputro said the company intends to acquire lands in Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi. The company has since 2013 changed its core business to property from mining.

MYRX divests its mining and energy entities, PT Binadaya Wiramaju and PT De Petroleum International (DPI) for Rp400 billion, targeted to conclude the transaction next month.

MYRX also plans to offer 30% shares to strategic buyer or investor this year, through private placement mechanism, targeting to raise proceeds of between US$200-250 million.
