JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened lower 0.6% at 4874 this morning, to tracking regional markets.

Asian stocks slipped, heading for their third weekly drop this month, as copper slumped to a six-year low and GOLD slid to the lowest since 2010, Bloomberg reported.

Nymex’s crude oil rose 0.76% to US$48.84 per barrel in Asian trading this morning while gold fell 1% to US$1,083.10 per ounce.

Astra Agro dropped 3.35%, Adaro Energy fell 1.68%, Astra International declined 1.82%, Alam Sutera shed 1.87%, XL Axiata slashed 3.17%, Kalbe Farma fell 1.47%, and Perusahaan Gas Negara lost 1.3%.

On Thursday (July 23), foreign investors booked net sell of Rp137.9 billion, cutting year to date net buy to Rp4.1 trillion.
