JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The investigator team from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) have raided the office of the Advocates and Legal Consultant OSC owned by famous lawyer OC Kaligis in Central Jakarta, Monday (July 13) evening, Tribunnews.com reported.
As reported earlier, the KPK has caught red-handed five people in a bribery transaction in Medan allegedly related to the handling of cases at the Medan Administrative Court (PTUN). Thousands of US dollar money has been seized from the transaction.
While those five people have been named as suspects in the case. They are M Yagari Bhastara Guntur aka Gerry (a lawyer at OC Kaligis law firm), Tripeni Irianto Putro (Head of the PTUN Medan), Amir Fauzi (judge at the PTUN Medan), Dermawan Ginting (judge at the PTUN Medan), and Syamsir Yusfan (a registrar at the PTUN Medan).
The KPK, moreover, has asked the Immigration office to ban OC Kaligis, Governor of North Sumatra Gatot Pujo Nugroho, and his wife from overseas travel.
Unfortunately, the KPK has not yet revealed the details of the case that implicating OC Kaligis and Gatot Pujo Nugroho, a politician from the PKS. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
