JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has asked the Immigration office to ban Governor of North Sumatra Gatot Pujo Nugroho, who is also PKS politician, from overseas travel related to further examination into bribery scandal implicating 3 justices from the Medan Administrative Court (PTUN).
The KPK also asked similar request over Gatot’s wife Evy and famous lawyer OC Kaligis. The KPK earlier raided Gatot’s office in order to collect documents and evidences related to the case.
In this case, KPK has named five suspects. They are M Yagari Bhastara Guntur aka Gerry (a lawyer at OC Kaligis law firm), Tripeni Irianto Putro (Head of the PTUN Medan), Amir Fauzi (judge at the PTUN Medan), Dermawan Ginting (judge at the PTUN Medan), and Syamsir Yusfan (a registrar at the PTUN Medan).
The five suspected were caught red-handed in a bribery transaction in Medan. Thousands of US dollar money has been seized from the transaction. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
