JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State construction firms PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) and PT Pembangunan Perumahan Tbk (PTPP) propose to get capital injection from the government, to fund power plants construction projects in 2016.

This year, PTPP targets four Independent Power Producer/IPP projects; coal fired power plant in West Kalimantan with capacity of 2 x100 MW, and gas and coal-fired power plants in Arun Aceh and Pekan Baru with capacity of 2 x 100 MW each. PTPP also targets IPP project in Sumatera with capacity of 800 MW.

PTPP proposes to get capital injection of Rp3 trillion. PTPP prepares investment cost of Rp4.2-9.45 trillion for its 4 IPP projects.

Meanwhile WIKA targets three IPP projects; Lampung (2×600 MW), Java V project in Serang (2×1,000 MW), and Banten (2×1,000 MW).
