JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 793,500 in May 2015, up 5.47% from 752,400 in May 2014. Compared to April 2015, the figure rose 5.82%.
Total foreign tourists went to Bali, one of the most attractive places in Indonesia, through Ngurah Rai Airport, in May 2015 amounted 287,100 tourists, up 0.41% from 286,000 tourists in May 2014. Compared with April 2015, the number rose 5.82%.
Year to date, foreign tourists visiting Indonesia totaled 3.84 million tourists, grew by 3.85% from 7.70 million in the same period of 2014.
The number of tourists stayed in star hotels in 27 provinces reached an average number of 53.72% in May 2015, up 1.00 points compared to May 2014 (52.72%). Compared to April 2015, the figure increased 2.44 points.
Both domestic and international tourists on average stayed in the star hotels for around 2.12 days in May 2015, up 0.13 points compared to May 2014.
