JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State construction firm PT PP Tbk (PTPP) targets to get 4 contracts for power plant projects this year.
The said 4 contracts are coal-fired power plants with capacity of 2×100 MW in West Kalimantan, gas and coal power plants with capacity of 2×100 MW in Arun (Aceh) and Pekanbaru (Sumatera), 800 MW power plant project in Sumatera area.
The company has obtained gas power plant (PLTG) project contract located in Gorontalo, North Sulawesi, with capacity of 100 megawatts (MW) and cost of Rp1.63 trillion, awarded by state electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN).
PTPP plans to raise funds through rights issue scheme and propose the capital injection from the government amounting Rp4.4 trillion, to fund the power plants projects.
PTPP has booked new contracts of Rp11.82 trillion as of mid June this year, representing 44% of this year target (Rp27 trillion).
