JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) has asked five additional ministerial posts in the Working Cabinet for the party’s cadres related to the upcoming cabinet reshuffle may announced by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo in the near future.
PDI-P Deputy Secretary General Ahmad Basarah told the press that PDI-P deserves to get five additional ministerial posts considering the party as the largest political party in Jokowi-Kalla ruling coalition.
Basarah shared his beliefs that additional ministerial posts for PDI-P will be able to strengthen the administration as well as to improve the performance of the cabinet.
PDI-P controls four portofolios in Jokowi-Kalla cabinet. They are Coordinating Minister for Culture & Human Development Puan Maharani,
Minister of Home Affairs Tjahjo Kumolo, Minister of Law & Human Rights Yasonna Hamonangan Laoly, and Minister of Cooperatives & Small-Medium Enterprises (KUKM) AA Puspayoga.
PDI-P, led by fifth President Megawati Soekarnoputri, is currently the largest political party in the House of Representatives (DPR) with
