JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended lower 0.5% to 4959 on Monday (June 22) while Asian equities mostly advanced after Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras made a new offer of reforms over the weekend.
Bank Rakyat Indonesia fell 0.9%, Jasa Marga lost 1.33%, Lippo Karawaci declined 1.35%, and Perusahaan Gas Negara dropped 2.16%. Other losers were Adaro Energy (-2.47%), Bumi Serpong Damai (-2.2%), Telkom (-1.9%), Media Nusantara Citra (-5%), and Global Mediacom (-7.26%).
while Bank Negara Indonesia gained 0.45%, Alam Sutera jumped 6.73%, Eagle High Plantations rose 1.61%, Jababeka hiked 2.06%, and Timah lifted 3.47%.
Other gainers were Adhi Karya (+4.06%), Hanson International (+1.37%), MNC Investama (+0.92%), Gunawan Dianjaya Steel (+3.08%), and Pakuwon Jati (+0.93%).
Nymex’s crude oil rose 0.85% to US$60.48 per barrel while gold declined 0.52% to US$1,195.60 per ounce. The rupiah slightly up to US$13,318 against the US dollar.
