JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Attorney General Office (AGO) is expected on Wednesday (June 17) to question former Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE’s) Dahlan Iskan over corruption case of the Rp32 billion electricity car project.
The AGO has earlier named two suspects in the case. They are Agus Suherman (former staff of Dahlan Iskan at the SOE’s Ministry) and Dasep Ahmadi (engineer from the respected Bandung Institute of Technology/ITB and Director at PT Sarimas Ahmadi Pratama–a company appointed to handle the electricity car project).
According to the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes Widyo Pramono, Agus Suherman has ordered three state companies (BRI, Pertamina, and PGN) to financing the electricity car project as well as appointing PT Sarimas to handle the project accordance to Dahlan’s command.
Dahlan served as Minister of State-Owned Enterprises from October 2011 to October 2014 under the administration of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY). He has been named as a graft suspect in a separate case related to electricity station of Java-Bali-West Nusa Tenggara. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
