JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened higher 0.8% at 4914 this morning, extending yesterday’s gain. Foreign investors booked net buy of Rp199.8 billion on Tueday (June 16), bringing year to date net buy to Rp3.8 trillion.
Asia shares inched higher while the dollar held firm on Wednesday as investors awaited the Federal Reserve’s latest take on the U.S. economy and interest rates, Reuters reported.
Nymex’s crude oil rose 0.13% to US$60.05 per barrel in Asian trading this morning and gold declined 0.1% to US$1,179.20 per ounce.
Adaro Energy gained 2.56%, Alam Sutera rose 1.94%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia increased 1.9%, Bank Mandiri hiked 2.36%, Bumi Serpong Damai lifted 3.9%, Eagle High Plantation jumped 4.58%, Indofood climbed 1.1%, Kalbe Farma gained 1.85%, and Unilever rose 2.2%.
Other gainers were Sri Rejeki Isman (+5.2%), PT PP (+1.53%), Surya Citra Media (+2.15%), Adhi Karya (+2.49%), Media Nusantara Citra (+2.36%), Waskita Karya (+1.57%), Wijaya Karya (+2.12%), Pakuwon Jati (+2.74%).
