JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended higher 0.7% at 4872 on Tuesday (June 16), but closed off its high as profit taking hit certain stocks. The index moved at range of 4826-4892 during the day trading.
While regional markets closed in red zone amid concern over the the possibility of Greece defaulting on its debt.
Telkom gained 2.14%, Bank Negara Indonesia rose 2.33%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia hiked 3.94%, Bank Mandiri lifted 1.33%, and Astra International climbed 1.82%.
Other gainers were Adaro Energy (+1.96%), Alam Sutera (+1.98%), Bumi Serpong Damai (+3.1%), Jababeka (+1.27%), Kalbe Farma (+1.25%), Sri Rejeki (+8.87%), Adhi Karya (+3.35%), Media Nusantara Citra (+3.52%), Global Mediacom (+3.18%), Pakuwon Jati (+3.34%), and Hanson International (+2.17%).
While Eagle High Plantation dropped 5.12%, Bumi Resources lost 1.61%, Semen Indonesia declined 1.2%, Matahari Putra Prima fell 3.34%, Multipolar shed 2.99%, and Langgeng Makmur Industri, the most actively traded stock, lost 2.04%.
