JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Attorney General Office (AGO) has named Agus Suherman and Dasep Ahmadi as suspects in corruption case of electricity car project implicating Dahlan Iskan, former Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE).
Agus Suherman was former staff of Dahlan Iskan at the SOE’s Ministry. While Dasep Ahmadi, an engineer from the respected Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), is Director at PT Sarimas Ahmadi Pratama, a company appointed to handle the electricity car project.
According to the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes Widyo Pramono, Agus Suherman has ordered three state companies to financing the
electricity car project as well as appointing PT Sarimas to handle the project accordance to Dahlan’s command.
Dahlan himself, however, has not yet been named as suspect in the case. But the AGO has summoned Dahlan for questioning session on Wednesday (June 17) related to further investigation into the case.
Dahlan served as Minister of State-Owned Enterprises from October 2011 to October 2014 under the administration of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY). He has been named as a graft suspect in a separate case related to fictitious farm field project also at the SOE’s Ministry. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
