JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Gibran Rakabuming Raka, the eldest son of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, has tied the knot on Thursday (June 11) with Selvi Ananda, a former Putri Solo, in a ceremony wedding at the Graha Saba Buwana building in Solo, Central Java.
Other than President Jokowi and First Lady Iriana, members of the Working Cabinet also present in the ceremony.
Key leaders from the Great Indonesia ruling coalition (KIH) also attended the wedding. They are such as PDI-P Chairwoman Megawati Soekarnoputri and Nasdem Party Chairman Surya Paloh.
Born in Solo, on October 1, 1987, Gibran graduated from the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) and the University of Technology in Sydney (UTS), Australia. Gibran is known as the owner of Chili Pari Catering & Wedding Organizer.
Selvi, meanwhile, was also born in Solo on Januay 9, 1989. Back in 2009, she was crowned as Putri Solo after winning the Putri Solo beauty pageant. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
