JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Hutomo Mandala Putra aka Tommy Soeharto, the youngest son of the late President Soeharto, is expected on Monday (June 8) to establish his own new mass organization called HMPI (Himpunan Masyarakat Peduli Indonesia).
The declaration of HMPI will take place today in Solo, Central Java, the home town of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo.
Tommy himself will seat as Chairman of the HMPI’s Advisory Council. While Begug Purnomosidi and Tri Joko Susilo will act HMPI’s Chairman and Secretary General.
Tommy, who is also known as politician from Golkar Party, said HMPI will cooperate with the government to develop the country’s cooperative and small-medium enterprises. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
