JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 749,900 in April 2015, up 3.24% from 726,300 in April 2014. Compared to March 2015, the figure declined 5.03%.
Total foreign tourists went to Bali, one of the most attractive places in Indonesia, through Ngurah Rai Airport, in April 2015 amounted 309,900 tourists, grew by 11.5% from 277,900 tourists in April 2014. Compared with March 2015, the number rose 5.13%.
Year to date, foreign tourists visiting Indonesia totaled 3.05 million tourists, grew by 3.44% from 2.95 million in the same period of 2014.
The number of tourists stayed in star hotels in 27 provinces reached an average number of 51.28% in March 2015, down 0.05 points compared to April 2014 (51.33%). Compared to March 2015, the figure increased 2.15 points.
Both domestic and international tourists on average stayed in the star hotels for around 2.19 days in April 2015, up 0.13 points compared to April 2014.
