KUALA LUMPUR (Yosefardi) – Air Asia Berhad booked profit after tax of RM149 million in the first quarter of 2015, up 7.2% from RM139.7 million in the corresponding period of 2014.
Revenues was down 0.38% to RM1.29 billion from previous RM1.3 billion. Operating profit however grew by 20% to RM273 million from previous RM227 million.
Its assets reached RM21.5 billion while liability amounted RM16.88 billion. Passengers carried increased 3% to 5.53 million during January-March 2015 period.
