JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Selection Committee of the Corruption Eradication Commission’s (KPK) leadership have encouraged women to participate in the selection of future KPK leaders.
Spokesperson of the selection committee Betty Alisjahbana, however, assured that the committee will remain firmly verify every candidate applied to the committee.
Today (May. 29), the selection committee of the KPK leadership is expected to meet the current five KPK leaders to get necessary inputs.
The selection committee of the KPK leadership was established by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo last week. The President made a surprise decision by appointing nine women as members of the selection committee. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
