JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 0.3% at 5309 this morning while regional markets mostly down.

Asian shares fell in early trading this morning. Japan’s Nikkei edged up 0.1%, after logging seven straight gains and closing at a fresh 15-year high on Monday.

Nymex’s crude oil fell 1.1% to US$61.30 per barrel in Asian trading this morning while gold rose 0.1% to US$1,204 per ounce.

Eagle High Plantation jumped 5.2%, Astra Agro rose 1.5%, London Sumatra climbed 1.75%, Aneka Tambang gained 1.9%, Alam Sutera increased 1.6%, Bank Damanom hiked 2%, XL Axiata lifted 2.54%, and Timah advanced 1.72%.
