JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Fahira Idris, through her Facebook account, confirmed the wedding of her father Fahmi Idris, a senior politician from Golkar Party and former Minister of Industry, with Yeni Fatmawati, a widow with 2 children. The wedding will be held on Saturday (May. 23).
Fahira, who is member of the Regional Representatives Council (DPD), said that the couple has only invited relatives and their closest friends to their simple wedding.
Fahmi served as Minister of Industry from 2005 to 2009 under Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and Jusuf Kalla administration.
Yeni is a Legal Director at Unilever Indonesia. Prior to work at Unilever Indonesia, Yeni worked at GE Finance, Coca Cola Indonesia, Danone Group, and PT Sari Husada. She also ever worked at the famous Hadiputranto Hadinoto & Partners (HHP) law firm for 7.5 years. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
