JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The National Police’s Criminal Investigation Division (Bareskrim Polri) has questioned Raden Priyono, former Chief of the powerful upstream oil & gas regulatory body BPMigas, for ten hours related to investigation into graft case surrounding the supply of condensates to the troubled company PT Trans Pacific Petrochemical Indotama (TPPI).

Priyono has been questioned as witness in the case from around 10:00 am to 8:00 pm of Jakarta time on Wednesday (May 20) at the Bareskrim Polri’s office.

Talking to the press, Priyono only said that the investigators have questioned about his duties and authorities as BPMigas Chief.

Priyono’s lawyer Supriyadi, meanwhile, clarified that the Police has not yet named his client as suspect in the case.

Priyono served as BPMigas Chief from April 2008 to November 2012. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
