JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – World Bank is committed to provide loan of US$12 billion for Indonesia for next 3-4 years, to support the big-scale investment projects including investment on the human resources.

World Bank chairman Jim Yong Kim has today met with the President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and expressed the loan commitment for Indonesia.

Of total US$12 billion loan, International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) will provide US$8 billion while the rest comes from International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA).

Jim Yong Kim visits Indonesia for 4 days (May 19-22).
