JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Telekomunikasi International (Telin), subsidiary of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) Tbk (TLKM), plans to build data center in Singapore in June this year which costs US$115 million.
Telin will take 2 years for construction of data center at 8000 m2 land area. This data center will be connected to global undersea cable network system.
Telin joins with South East Asia-Middle East-Western Europe 5 (SEA-ME-WE 5) consortium for constructing 20000 km undersea cable network project.
Telin also joins with South East Asia-United States (SEA-US) consortium for constructing 15000 km undersea cable network. Telkom also develops Indonesia Global Gateway undersea cable network.
