JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened lower 0.15% at 5228 this morning while regional markets were mixed.
Nymex’s crude oil rose 0.17% to US$60.34 per barrel in Asian trading this morning while gold declined 0.51% to US$1,221.30 per ounce.
Indofood slashed 2.13%, Indofood CBP fell 1.09%, Jasa Marga lost 1.63%, Kalbe Farma dropped 2.49%, United Tractors declined 1.24%, and Unilever slipped 1%.
Other losers were Surya Citra Media (-1.48%), Adhi Karya (-1.28%), Waskita Karya (-1.14%), Media Nusantara Citra (-1.16%), Multipolar (-1.95%), and Matahari Putra Prima (-1.13%).
While Sentul City rose 1.85%, Eagle High Plantations gained 2.46%, and Adaro Energy hiked 1.14%.
Today investors are awaiting Bank Indonesia’s decision on its benchmark BI rate. China will also release its house price index while Japan to release its machinery orders, industrial production, capacity utilization, and GDP growth rate.
